- Download and use it free for 14 days. Everything is unlocked. No card, no account, nothing to cancel.
- When the trial ends, SayWrite locks: dictation, AI Polish and file transcription stop until you enter a license. Your history, dictionary and settings stay on your Mac.
- Subscribe here. After checkout, click Open in SayWrite and confirm, or paste your license key into SayWrite › Settings › License.
- Cancel anytime in Stripe's billing portal: click Manage Subscription in SayWrite › Settings › License, or use the form below. SayWrite keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for.

How does the free trial work?
Download SayWrite and use everything free for 14 days. There's no card to enter and no account to create, so there's nothing to cancel if you decide it isn't for you.
What happens when the trial ends?
After 14 days, SayWrite locks: dictation, AI Polish and file transcription stop until you enter a license. Subscribe here, then click Open in SayWrite on the confirmation page and confirm, or paste your license key into SayWrite › Settings › License. Your history, dictionary and settings stay on your Mac.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly?
Only the price and billing period. Both plans include unlimited dictation, AI Polish, file transcription and updates. Yearly is $30, half of what twelve months at $5 would cost.
How do I cancel?
Anytime, through Stripe's secure billing portal: click Manage Subscription in SayWrite › Settings › License, or paste your license key under Manage your subscription on this page. You can cancel, switch plans or update your card there. After you cancel, SayWrite keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Do I need an account?
No. Checkout is handled by Stripe, and afterwards you get a license key. SayWrite checks the key on your Mac; there's no SayWrite account or password.
Is there a usage limit?
No. There's no word limit, no minutes cap and no per-use AI charge. Speech recognition and AI Polish run on your Mac, so there are no cloud costs to pass on to you.
Does paying change what leaves my Mac?
No. Your voice and your text still never leave your Mac. Checkout happens on Stripe's website, and renewing a subscription license sends only the license key to saywrite.app, at most once a day near expiry, never anything you say or write. Gift keys and the trial never connect.
How is it cheaper than Wispr Flow?
Wispr Flow Pro is $12 a month billed annually, $144 a year per user, as of September 28, 2026. SayWrite is $30 a year, less than a quarter of that, because it doesn't pay for cloud servers: the work happens on your Mac.
